SERIES FEATURES

• 12 races held over 6 rounds at Dubai Autodrome and Yas Marina circuits
• 5-6 hours track time at each event
• 3 hour open pit lane test session, 3 x 20 minute official practice sessions, 2 x 15 minute qualifying sessions and 2 x 45 minute races
• Compulsory pit stops with optional driver changes
• Restrictions on tyre usage - limited to one set for qualifying and races.
• 3 classes:
  
  Masters - Radical SR8. SR8LM & SR8 RX
  Supersport - Radical SR3, SR5 & PR6
  Invitation - other qualifying sportscars
• A driver grading system of Gold, Silver & Bronze.
• Trophies for class, Bronze drivers, GCC National drivers, Seniors & Driver of the Day
• Hospitality lounge for drivers, their guests and sponsors.

INTRODUCTION

Following five years of successful Radical Sportscar racing in the UAE, the Radical Cup is set to rise to the next level for 2011/2012 with a new format, increased seat time and a new series organizer.

With over 1000 Radicals sold globally and multi-national championships, Radicals now constitute one of the most successful one make series in the world with the cars offering unbeatable performance for their cost. Designed for drivers of all ages and experience, the 2011/2012 Radical Cup structure has been designed to allow all parties to maximize their race day experience and obtain podium positions. The incorporation of the Novice Cup, two driver teams, and the driver grading system will make the racing both extremely cost effective and competitive at every level.
